Fletcher-Flora began its long course in the healthcare information technology industry in 1984 designing and manufacturing LIS solutions serving the physician office, clinic, group practice and hospital laboratory markets. As the market expanded, Fletcher-Flora evolved to meet the needs of larger and more complex laboratories. In early 2007, Fletcher-Flora announced the addition of the FFlex eSuite™, a robust and entirely Web-based LIS designed to meet the needs of any size laboratory. The concept behind FFlex eSuite is to be truly flexible: scalable for the simplest to the most complex labs with a choice of operating systems, relational database software, optional Web-based modules and pricing models.

FFlex eSuite is the only fully integrated Web-based LIS solution and meets the needs of; physician office laboratories, multi-site clinics, hospitals, and group practices. It offers complete laboratory functionality with seamless integration of

In 2009, Fletcher-Flora announced the availability of two new versions of FFlex eSuite LIS solution, and the release of our standalone outreach solution: FFlex ePortal.

FFlex eSuite MGR - designed and priced specifically for small labs looking for an entry point into a high-end LIS system. Now even the smallest labs can improve their office workflow and enhance delivery of patient results by integrating clinical instruments and managing reference lab send outs. In addition, small labs can now automatically generate integrated patient reports for efficient distribution. FFlex eSuite MGR is an easy-to-use, easy-to-train system that facilitates expansion as labs grow.

In 2009, FFlex eSuite became available in an Application Service Provider (ASP) model, offering the same FFlex eSuite functionality with the server hosted and maintained in a secure offsite data center providing even the smallest labs access to laboratory information technology that they may not have been able to afford in the past. This addition to our growing line of Web-based LIS solutions is ideal for clinical laboratories who want to bring the latest technology into their operation while maximizing a limited budget and eliminating the need for any additional IT support staff.
