Diagnostics

As the industry continues to improve, there is greater responsibility on diagnostics as a key enabler of patient care and business operations.

Diagnostics continues to be one of most important areas for healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of diseases.  More effort must be targeted in assessing the proper diagnosis and making better decisions at the point-of-care (PoC).  There is a genuine urgency to improve clinical processes, meet industry standards, and maximize opportunities to provide proper information to patients in the most cost effective manner to stay in tune with the growingly complex healthcare industry.

New technological advances are helping to dispel the negative myths surrounding PoC testing v central laboratory testing.  Hospitals are beginning to develop internal networks that connect all diagnostic equipment feeding all patient information over a network for instant access, digital patient information is becoming a vital tool for doctors to access patient information from numerous locations, and early diagnosis and prevention is enabled by emerging diagnostic technologies such as PET.

All of these factors are leading to an increase in overall healthcare productivity for early ailment diagnosis and treatment.

Executive Healthcare Management will serve the industry as a vital resource for healthcare professionals and practitioners to gain insight and understand best practice strategies in Diagnostics. Through the most current industry news, case studies, and thought leadership from leading solution providers, EHM will provide a platform for healthcare professionals to truly stay above their competition and transform the quality of medicine and safety through Diagnostics.
