Respiratory and Critical Care

In the US, more patients suffer from chronic lung problems such as asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema than any other country.

Most people take breathing for granted - it’s an involuntary reflex.  But for thousands of Americans who suffer from breathing problems, special respiratory care is needed to accomplish what most people consider second nature.  The treatment and management of respiratory diseases is becoming more and more of a priority.

Respiratory and critical care remains one of the most progressive and dynamic sectors in the healthcare industry.  With the treatment of respiratory disorders in hospital and clinics, there is a high demand for fully integrated workstations in healthcare facilities.  Respiratory therapists, pulmonologiests, and other physicians who provide clinical and management leadership in respiratory and critical care are seeking to ensure a better, healthier future for patients through quality treatment and management of respiratory diseases.

Executive Healthcare Management understands the needs of the Respiratory and Critical Care market and provides a range of solutions to address market challenges.  In conjunction with the AARC and the American Lung Association, EHM will provide a platform for industry experts and thought leaders to share their strategies for successfully treating respiratory illness and disease.

In addition to the Respiratory and Critical Care market space, EHM will take a careful look into the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of sleep disorders.  Sleep apnea is one of the most common disorders in America - it affects more than 12 million Americans, according to the National Institutes of Health.  But because of the lack of the awareness of sleep apnea, the vast majority of people that suffer from this serious disorder remain undiagnosed and untreated despite the fact that it could lead to significant consequences.  High blood pressure and other cardiovascular disease, memory problems, weight gain, and impotency could result from sleep apnea, untreated.

In conjunction with the American Sleep Apnea Association, EHM will introduce new products for treating sleep disorders and talk to leading medical practitioners on the best strategies to improve the overall quality of sleep.
